Luna Sandals The Original and Still the Best. Review and Giveaway.

Original Luna Sandals Review

and Giveaway

The greatest Running Sandal on Earth

My  favorite thing about Luna sandals is how they become an extension of your body. The more you where them the more the sandal takes on the actual form of your foot. Unlike Vibrams where your foot and toes need to be  a certain size Luna sandal's can fit anyone. Over time they actually get better!.  When taken off your foot you can still see the unique mold that your foot has created.  The original luna is by far my favorite

The Patrick Sweeney Tying Method

I look forward to the ritual of lacing up on race day.  I do it with patience and care.  I put my sandals on to race! I do not race to put my sandal's on.
If I'm not Barefoot chances are I am wearing a Original Luna Sandal

Lately I have been experimenting  with a lace made entirely of the ribbon from that attaches to plug on the ATS lacing system.  I really Like it and I hope Luna will start selling them in the near future.
In 2009 I fell in love with them while pacing at badwater and never looked back.
Although I had no clue how to tie them they are the perfect footwear for desert racing.  No blisters because all the sweat coming off my foot was not trapped inside a shoe.

Where will your Luna sandals take you?
To the front of the pack?

or to the Grand canyon?

Over bridges?
or to an Island Paradise?

To the snow?
on to trails?
or in the grass?
Where ever they take you promise me to have some fun along the way.
:)
You might even get you picture in the paper someday?

Good Luck

    1. Unless I am testing something out I will always prefer to lace up traditionally. However In my day to day travels through suburbia I wear the ATS lace most of the time.

  4. Very cool review. I haven't tried running in Lunas, yet, but I do like the look...and the attitude. Of course, I'm not fast enough to win a helpful plaque, so I better stay clear of the clothing optional races. :)

  15. I just got a pair of these (well, I received them months ago, but just started running in them. These are by far the BEST Lunas ever. Totally comfortable. Easy to adjust. No rubbing, my foot doesn't slide around, offering enough protection but not too much. Really awesome.

  30. I absolutely love my Original Lunas and I've been wanting to try a pair for trails, since the trails I run on are often pretty sandy and slippery, and I need better grip. Good luck to me!!
